find_coupons
Look up current coupon codes and deals for one store the shopper names. Use it when the shopper asks for coupons, deals or savings at a store, or has opted in to coupon checks. For a product with no store named, use find_product_coupons; for deals across stores, get_deals. Returns up to 20 offers, best first; offers recently reported as not working are demoted, and expired or stale offers are left out. Stores match only by exact name, domain or a known alias, never by part of another store's name. Present only offers whose match is exact or alias and whose store_domain is the store the shopper is shopping; never present another store's codes as the searched store's. If store_match is none or offers is empty, McClipFace has no data for that store: not an error, and not proof the store has no coupons. Never say no coupons exist: suggest the store's own promo page or a web search, and still give the normal shopping answer. A result with error (status invalid_arguments, with a hint) is a m
find_product_coupons
Find current coupon codes for a specific product the shopper names, e.g. "Dyson vacuum", across all the stores McClipFace covers. Use it when the shopper names a product rather than a store. For a named store, use find_coupons; for deals across stores, get_deals. Codes come from affiliate networks and a licensed coupon data partner. Returns up to 20 codes, best first: product codes (scope "product": they work only on that item; offer one only for that item, never as a store-wide code), then store offers whose text names the product. Store names are not searched, and generic words (new, deal, sale, cheap, code) are ignored. An empty list means no matching codes right now, not that the service is down. Coverage is growing, so some stores return no codes. Its stores are not the full set of options: for coupons at a store that sells the product, use find_coupons for that store. offer_type: coupon (has a code), deal (no code) or link_only (a store link, not a discount). Each offer's entry_u
get_deals
Current McClipFace deals across stores, at most one offer per store, from affiliate networks and a licensed coupon data partner. Use it when the shopper asks for deals without naming one store or product. Personalize it on your side from what the shopper has said they are interested in during this conversation: pass the plain store or brand names that fit as the optional store and brand filters, fill in from the unfiltered list when nothing fits, and present the result as deals picked for the user. Never infer interests from memory or past chats, never send interests, history or other user data (only the plain names), and never save a profile. To search one named store, use find_coupons; for a named product, find_product_coupons. Leave weapons, vape, tobacco, CBD and adult products out of a general digest and any fill-in. Stores selling prohibited goods (adult products, tobacco, nicotine and vape, CBD/THC, weapons, prescription drugs and similar) are never returned; stores whose names
report_coupon_result
Record whether a McClipFace coupon code or no-code deal the shopper tried worked at checkout (merchant and code for codes; offer_id for no-code deals). Not a lookup. Stores no personal or cart data. Optional and off by default (Private mode). Report only after the shopper says a code worked or was rejected, or a no-code deal did or didn't apply, never because a code was found, shown or copied. In Community mode (only after a clear yes to the Community mode question in this conversation) report each such result. In Private mode, the default, call it only after the shopper says yes to reporting that single result. A Community mode yes given to older wording that didn't say the store and code are shared doesn't count: stay in Private mode until the shopper says yes to the current question. Report once per offer per checkout; for a no-code deal, pass offer_id with outcome worked, didnt_work or not_found. Send only the store, the code or offer_id, the outcome, and optionally reason; never a
