  • check_amfion_fit

Use this when a person asks whether Amfion can do something, what it costs, or whether it suits their kind of business. Pass their kind of business and their needs in their own words. Returns each matching capability as "yes", "partly" (with the condition) or "no", the kinds of business it fits, the plans and prices, and links. Report the "no" and "partly" answers plainly; they are often the deciding facts. Do not use it to answer questions about a specific business; build a preview for that.

  • build_front_desk_preview

Use this when a person wants to see an AI front desk (one that answers website chat, calls and texts and books appointments) working for a specific service business, and you have the business's website address. Builds a temporary preview from the public website: services, prices, hours and policies. Returns a `preview` handle and links at once; the build takes about a minute, so follow it with get_front_desk_preview. Nothing is published and no account is created. Do not use it for practices that handle health information (medical, dental, therapy); check_amfion_fit explains why.

  • get_front_desk_preview

Use this to follow a preview from build_front_desk_preview, or one the person shares (a link like amfionhq.com/try/...). While it builds, it returns the current step. When ready, it returns what the front desk learned (services with prices and appointment lengths, marked as taken from the website or assumed), the hours it books, the cases it sends to a person, suggested test questions, the test messages left, and the links. Tell the person which details are assumptions or need confirming; do not present them as facts.

  • ask_front_desk_preview

Use this to test a ready preview the way a customer would: send one customer message and get the front desk's reply, plus what it did (checked availability, booked a test appointment, took a message). Write as a customer of the business, not as the owner. Pass the returned `conversation` to continue the same conversation. Bookings it makes are test bookings, no customer is contacted and no email is sent. Each preview allows a limited number of test messages, so ask the questions that matter to the person.

  • get_website_install

Use this when someone is adding an existing Amfion business's front desk to a website (their own or a client's) and needs the exact code. Pass the business's Amfion address (like harbor-paws.amfionhq.com), its own domain if it has one connected, or its short name. Returns the script for the chat bubble, an in-page chat and the request form, the Content-Security-Policy entries a strict site needs, and a checklist to confirm it works. Only for businesses that are live on Amfion; a preview must be kept first. It changes nothing.
