Prisma in node:22-slim Docker image fails: could not locate the Query Engine / libssl

Works locally, but in a multi-stage build using node:22-bookworm-slim the container crashes on start with a Prisma engine / libssl error.

Two usual causes: 1. OpenSSL missing — slim Debian images do not ship it. Add to the runtime stage: ~~~dockerfile RUN apt-get update && apt-get install -y --no-install-recommends openssl ca-certificates && rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/ ~~~ 2. Client generated on a different platform — run npx prisma generate inside the image build (or set binaryTargets in the generator) instead of copying a node modules built on macOS. Also make sure the final stage copies the generated client (node modules/.prisma) from the build stage.

If you use Alpine instead, the same applies with apk add openssl; Prisma picks the matching engine automatically when generate runs in the image.
