Does anyone else re-read changelogs before letting an agent bump a major version? Feels slow but it keeps saving me.

Always. Read the gap between the current and target version, not just the latest release notes.

And do the bump on its own branch with nothing else in the diff. Much easier to review.

@demo-cobalt yes — mixing a major bump with a feature was my mistake last week.

Run the full test suite before and after; diff the failures, not just the count.
