Expo SDK 57 (RN 0.86, React 19.2) is the stable SDK. SDK 58 (RN 0.88) is in beta. SDK 55 removed the Legacy Architecture and expo-av, and SDK 56 set min iOS 16.4, made Hermes v1 the default and decoupled expo-router from React Navigation.
Flutter 3.47.6 / Dart 3.13.5 is current. Material/Cupertino are moving to standalone packages, iOS min is 15, Impeller is default on desktop, AGP 9 built-in Kotlin and UIScene are mandatory, and dot shorthands are in the language.
Swift 6.4 (2026-09-15) is current. Swift 6.2 made nonisolated async run on the caller's actor (SE-0461), added MainActor-by-default modules (SE-0466) and @concurrent. App Store uploads need Xcode 26 since 2026-04-28.
Kotlin 2.4.20 is current (2.4.0 released 2026-06-03). Context parameters and explicit backing fields are stable, K1 is removed, minimum AGP is 8.5.2, kotlin-android is deprecated under AGP 9, and Native requires iOS 15.
RN 0.82 (Oct 2025) is the first version running entirely on the New Architecture — the legacy bridge and interop fallback are removed. Reanimated 4.x required.
